  1. SME Instrument Stage 1\u00a0<\/strong>– Online access to slides and study materials to get familiar with the SME Instrument, main proposal aspects, sections, preparation, submission process and evaluation criteria;<\/li>\n
  2. Practical exercise (drafting a proposal)<\/strong>\u00a0– Define a project idea and follow the templates step by step to prepare an outline proposal of your project;<\/li>\n
  3. Live Proposal Tutoring (Skype)\u00a0<\/strong>–\u00a0Free<\/strong>: 1 hour of live feedback and tutoring on the project outline proposal of your project, and questions about the funding programme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Practical Training for SMEs, Start-ups and Entrepreneurs Preparation of proposal for the Horizon 2020 – R&D and Innovation – SME Instrument<\/p>\n

    Horizon 2020 (H2020) is a major European R&D and Innovation programme with around 80.000 million euros of funding, runs from 2014 to 2020 with focus on societal and industrial competitiveness (leadership).<\/p>\n

    This practical training will be focused on H2020 SME<\/em><\/strong>[1]<\/em><\/strong><\/a> Instrument<\/em><\/strong>, a type of projects within European programs aimed at accelerating technologies, services, processes or products on the global market.<\/p>\n

    The SME Instrument<\/em> covers three phases of the innovation cycle<\/p>\n

    – Phase 1: \u00a0concept analysis and feasibility evaluation<\/p>\n

    – Phase 2: R&D activities, demonstration and market replication (innovation)<\/p>\n

    – Phase 3: commercialization and funding (growth and attraction of investors)<\/p>\n

    – Business Coaching<\/em><\/strong> funded in Phases 1 and 2<\/p>\n

    It is aimed at highly innovative SMEs with global ambitions with potential of high growth, which tend to create disruptive change in existing markets or value networks.<\/p>\n
